I'm using a Mac OSX 10.5. I downloaded the concept brushed, now how do I make them functional for Painter 11 in my Mac... LOL, I need someone to stand over my shoulder and help me run my machine!

Being totally non-professional in using Painter, I did some rif-files long ago and would like to change the paper texture in retrograde. Is there a way to do it? Don´t seem to find that piece of information. Understand your guidance in your post here you wrote three years ago. But believe that it does not apply in my case, with a hundred files originally done with Metacreation´s Painter. I am now trying to get used to Painter 11 on a MAC, having used Painter 6 for PC some years ago.

I appreciate your blog immensely for its lucidness and compassion towards non-professionals. Best, Jan W

I have got to say THANK YOU for these pencils. They are by far the best pencil tool I have used within a software application. I haven't touched a real pencil to draw with in months. Really nice job. Please take care.

I'm a traditional artist in watercolor.But I have now a painter IX and find the time to buyed a wacom tablet intuos 3.My litle experience is that the tablet give a feeling of real art with painter. But I will find out the brushes how it realy work and make later my own brushes for watercolor. I loved to do with painter. I see to newbie's give never up.try and practice.
