How do I get s%!t to format and display correctly!

So getting to know this system, this is gonna be a test entry to try and get things working....

So here is an image...

To insert the image I used the standard HTML img tag formated like this:
<img src="link to image wherever it may live" width="size in pixels" height="size in pixels" />

Overall the formatting can be done using standard HTML tags...
i.e.: <b> for bold </b> , <i> for italic </i> etc...

If there are other formatting controls you are looking for, drop me a line, or respond here and I can update this to help y'all out... Filed under: , ,

Steve,

Are you seeing the tinyMCE formatting toolbar when you post? I'm not sure if it is part of the blog software, or something I installed with WordPress. The toolbar I use for posting does not appear in Safari (2.0.4), but does in Camino and Firefox (Mac). There is an Insert/edit image button in that toolbar.

I'm using Safari, and I do NOT see the MCE toolbar....

Personally I am comfortable using HTML tags to do stuff... so i was leaving this for folks that are Safari fools like me

:)

Hi Steve and David,

I'm using Mozilla Firefox and do see the formatting bar when in the message editing window for my Blog. I do not see it when posting text to my Bio but have found a solution (at least for me), that may also be a solution for others.

Just sent you an e-mail about it.

David,

If Steve can find time to test my method, I'll share it with everyone, or Steve can share it if he wants to. Until then, we'll have to wait.

In the meantime, if you download Mozilla Firefox, you may see what I see... the formatting bar in the Blog message editing window.

Hope that makes sense.

P.S. I don't see any formatting options when typing this message and only hope it's possible to edit these messages posted to another person's Blog.

P.P.S. What the heck is the Remember Me? box below this window and above the Submit button for?

Jin
