    Portrait of a young dog

This is a close up of the collie I posted before.  I used mostly oils and impasto on this version.  I do not usually paint dogs but this one was so much  like apainting before i even began that i spent hours  just having fun.

I do not know why this does not show on the site.  It is 650 at the largest side and under 100k.  Any suggestions?

    Hi Caryl,

It's showing here. Maybe you need to refresh your browser.

    Beautiful dog, by the way.

I like it very much.   The only suggestion I would make is that it might be good to have a little more contrast between the strokes you use on the face and those on the fur.
