One of my first Painter portraits

Here's one of my first Painter portraits painted a couple of years ago now. Learning come's in spurts but the fun with Painter never stops.

This was a gift to the bride and groom and painted by hand in Painter IX with reference to a wedding photo. Many thanks to art aquaintances at the time for their feedback - they know who they are.

It was printed in in archival inks on an Epson 2100 a little under A3 in size and framed. I'm proud to say it's hanging on the wall in the living room of the couple today.

    Hi Duncan,

What a pleasure it is to see you here, and to see this beautiful painting again. I remember watching it develop and enjoying the process very much. It's good to hear it's displayed in the happy couple's home (as it should be).

Thanks for sharing your work with us. I hope to see more, and....

    Nice to mee you Duncan!

I think that for an artist to know that his/her painting is still hanging in a wall, is a great satisfaction, expecially if they are friends! Hope that for mine!!

Your portrait of those people is lovely and I can't imagine how much you improved in these two years! Post more please!

    Ciao, Giovanna

    Very nice...

Warm, inviting. This captures the essence* of the couple's joy in each other.
No wonder it holds an honored place in their home.

    Job well done!
