There are some more videos on that page, and if you click the Tutorial tab at the top, more drawing tutorials. One's in French but it's easy enough to see how David Revoy draws, and understand his tips on lighting and shadows.

Hey everyone!

I constantly get asked at shows to show off what can be created in Painter. I usually have a folder with some cool artwork and such,  unfortunately as soon as I show them something, the next questions is "WOW... how's they do that?"

For this reason I've started to seek out and collect some cool speed painting examples of people using Painter. Here are some of my favs so far:

A Sharpened Heart by Melissa Findley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BxI9VJJHPc) - if you pay close enough attention, you'll see that even her pupil is shaped like a heart!

Zombie by Markbehm (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQmtfuCWl0w) - I've always been a fan of Zombie's... and is excellent when showing off how people use Painter for creature creation.

Manga cg drawing test by Mari (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvxMDjkcgOY) - "Yes you can produce amazing Manga art in Painter", finally I can show the younger artists what I'm talking about :-)

Undead by Rune Bødker (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g7hge35vhI) - Rune also uses Photoshop in some of his workflow, plus I just had to represent Danish talent having lived in Denmark for 5 years :-) -
