Hello,

I find this site confusing as I did Painter initially. I'm trying to decide if this is a Corel thing or just my hard head; probably my head. I don't even know if this is the place to post a message.

Regardless, here I am and wonder who reads these posts. If anyone responds where do I read that?

One other thing, how to I post my picture on this site?

To post a picture you can go into Painter Discussion/Share Your Work/Write a New Post.     You may need to adjust size of picture - I usually make longest side about 700 pixels.

On the main page of The PainterFactory, click the Painter Discussion tab. On that page,  you'll see the list of all forums.

Near the top is the PainterFactory Site Help forum where you posted this thread. On the main page of the PainterFactory Site Help forum, you'll see there are two sections.

At the top is the Announcements and FAQs section where you'll find tutorials explaining how to do things. Check there first as I think you'll probably find most of your answers.

Below that is the Topics section where you can post comments and ask new questions.

Post threads related to general understanding and use of whichever Painter version you have in the appropriate forum for that version:

• Corel Painter 11
• Corel Painter Sketch Pad
  
• Corel Painter X - Last Version
• Painter Past - Earlier Versions

Post threads related to technical issues and bug reports in the appropriate forum where the Corel Painter development team will see them (tt will help if you begin the thread title with your platform and OS version number, followed by your Painter version number):

• Got a Question/Technical Issue/Bug Report for The Painter Team?

If you'd like to make a suggestion for improvement to the current or a following Painter version, post it in this forum:

• Suggestion Box

Thanks for your reply Anne. I apologize for the delay in my response to your kind aid. I've yet to decide whether I like blog type websites or not. I know, I'm getting old and cranky but here I am.

It's funny, my chronological age is 66 and my body feels it. My thoughts are still young as they were years ago. Unlike years ago, my thoughts are now modified by an endless storehouse of modifiers or experience filters. The end result is the loss of spontenaity and the acquisition of what appears to be wisdom; but, I wonder, is it really wisdon.

I better stop with that line of thinking and start thinking art and creating.

 I am a newbie as well.  There are enough complaints and history to tell us that it is not you but rather a defective product and a company that either cares so little about its customers that it isn't interested in delivering on its promises, that is a bunch of liars or that is run by incompetents or perhaps all of the above.  You are not alone.
