Using Painter Layers with Final Cut - Painter IX - Mac OS 10.4.1

I have been trying importing layers from Painter to Final Cut but the colors invert. Does anyone have an idea how to get around this?

Importing a canvas poses no problems.  {CORRECTION} The color is not a true invert, I am not sure what kind of shift it is.

    Need more information:

Which Painter version are you using? (Please always include your Painter version and OS version number, either Mac or Windows in the subject line of your thread. We can't remember what everyone's using or even if they might have more than one Painter version installed.)

What formats does Final Cut support?

In which format did you save the Painter file?

Painter 9 on a OS 10.4.11 Mac. There are only two export file types in Painter that keep the layers and Final Cut will only see Photoshop.

I have a feeling that there is not solution, but if there is that would be great. For now I am working with using iterative save to build up a sequence file.

Let's wait to see if anyone has some suggestions. I've never seen Final Cut Pro so no experience there.

The only thing I can think of is that you might have saved the file with Color Management turned on, or possibly saved the file in CMYK?
