I am a confirmed "Painter-A-Holic", gleefully addicted to Painter, pad & pen.
Been using Painter since it was born in Aptos, California. I am always awe-inspired by the depth of this program. I use it for everything: my own fine art, website design, graphic design, instruction in using color, form and composition, etc.
I'm including this piece that I created in Painter...started with a line drawing with using live model, Mandy. I looked at the negative and liked it better than the positive. then I had fun making it a bit more abstract and free-flowing. I then created a bunch of kaleidoscopes based on the image. I turned them all into "tiles", with a slightly off-white light source, and a slightly beveled edge, then arranged them around the image. The final printed piece is 28 x 24", and the tiles really look like tiles.
Fun Stuff!
