    Hi Scala,

I like what you're doing very much. This little Rorch'Arts character is charming.

It would be interesting to know what brush variants you used to get this soft look.

In any case, the effect is lovely, the character very appealing, and I hope we'll see more results of your research!

    Hey there Eric,
Great to see new work from you at any time and lovely to find a familiar face on another forum (that goes for you as well of course Jinny - long time no speak).  The freshness of this is lovely.  I can imagine you doing more great things in following this route.  Looking forward to watching, given the chance.

    Cheers,
    Nick

    Re: Rorch'Arts

Hey Jinny In fact in my Rorch'Art search it's like Rochart I use 3 different brush First Worm oil pastel to put the color then with water rake I'm mixing the colors usually I can use also either a dry palette knife or another blender ( a flat grainy stump) . Hey Nick a real pleasure to see you here , you never told me if you found the book of Jean Baptiste Monge (Patrice Leymarie told me you were looking for it ) if I can help .

    Hey Scala,

Thanks for so generously sharing info on the brush variants you use with your Rorch'Art.

Proves the point, it doesn't take a complex brush variant to create wonderful art, just a talented and imaginative artist. You certainly are that!

That one is not a rorch'art  but it is a speedpainting

That little Robot is a tribute to M Fassier and T Cardinet . Just because The 3rd march they sent me email that make me in a good mood .All done in Painter X.

    Another charming little character.... Robot!

Your choice of colors and the way you paint make this so fresh and clean, yet with enough texture to make it interesting. (That's not quite a fitting word, "interesting", as it sounds too intellectual and little Robot touches my heart.) Better to say that I want to keep studying little Robot to see how you created him... and keep enjoying the experience.

He is so cute, with his round metallic body and feet so firmly planted close together... but leaning just a bit, ready to take another small step.

Where is he going, alone or with little fellow Robots? Do they have a mission? What is it?

    He asks for a story!

Let's hope you continue to receive e-mails that make you happy. The result makes me happy too. ;)

Love these!  What absolute charmers.  Of course, there's a long history of this technique.  Chinese ink pouring is one such. And I read something about in Leonardo's notebooks.  He even studies the grain of wood for ideas.  Delightful stuff you're doing here.

I would think kids would love these.  I know they speak to the kid in me.  This one produced instant delight!  What a special gift you have.

Went to your website.  Ze-Dirty is a portrait of so many of us, I suspect.  I like that one the best of them so far.  You should post that one here.
