    Painter 10.1 - Non-usable Issues

I have Painter 10.1 -Education Edition installed and after a week of email with Corel, It finally comes up. However, the tools and brush pallettes as well as brush characteristics pallette are stuck in the center of my screen and won't move or dock anywhere else. Also, any attempt to change the brush style, size, etc. results in an application abend closing the program. I guess I have recieved my "education" as Corel doesn't support their product.

Anyway, I am running Vista with 8 gig of memory, 2T of disk space, using a Matrox APVe video card and a Wacom Cintiq.

Any ideas? I have tried using the shift key when starting up to restore defaults (which I haven't been able to change) but to no avail

     Thanks in advance.

    Steve

Someone may know different, but I think you may have a problem with your monitor desktop settings.  I remember reading about this in another forum but it was a while back and I don't have the particulars.
