Corel Painter X trial version corrupt

Hello! This is the first time I've ever been in a newsgroup of any kind, so I'm not sure how it works. Oh well, if someone can provide me with a solution it would be much appreciated. I have tried downloading the Corel Painter X trial to see if this is a product I would like to buy in the future, however, having tried to download it twice from the Corel website and once from Download.com (which directed back to Corel), I got a corrupt, unusable Painter X after installation and unpacking. Now, I checked the system requirements so everything is fine with my computer. The message displayed to me everytime is something along the lines of having a corrupted Painter X and I have tried reinstalling and uninstalling numerous times. Although, the Painter 4 Essentials trial works smoothly and no glitches in installation have occured. So, is something wrong with the trial version? Thanks in advanced. P.S: Please, if it's not too much trouble, I request you to e-mail me back at Issette@hotmail.com

    Hi Zulee,

    Welcome to The PainterFactory!

For the Corel Painter developers, or any of the experienced Painter users to offer suggestions and hopefully a solution, you'll need to supply more information:

    • Your complete system specifications
    • A detailed description of the steps leading up to your conclusion that the Painter X trial version is corrupted.
    • Any other specifics you think might help.

With enough information, we can hope the Corel Painter developers can help you solve this problem.

Thanks in advance, and good luck!

    Jinny
