    Comicbook work.

    comic page

Hello, this is my first post... I just finished this page yesterday -- the job was to take backgrounds that somebody else painted and lineart that somebody else had drawn and merge them. See links below:

Anyhow, this is hopefully the first of many such pages for me to paint... I will continue to share them as I finish them. Crits are always appreciated.

    Best,
    Jason.

Hi and welcome, I am new too but I really find it fascinating to see such wonderful work as you get on this forum.

Digital art is still somwewhat a Cinderella here in the UK, "Oh it's only something done with a computer"   or "yeah but it's not real drawing or painting is it?" is something I hear quite often, but as a rank amature I am begining to realise just how much work and talent that is involved in creating such works of art.

Thanks for the comments, I really enjoy digital art for what it is and the special qualities it has -- I paint traditionally in Egg Tempera, Watercolors, Oils, and Acrylics so when I do digital work I'm looking for something a bit different than what those mediums can give me.

Probably my favorite element of digital painting is the ability to mix qualities of several mediums that would not be compatible in the real world.

    Best,
    Jason.
