    I can get on from safari but not from firefox and I need to be in firefox to embed an image. Am stuck here. When I try to log in from firefox, I get name and password are not authenticated. Totally confused. Suchin

    Hi suchin,

    I've moved your thread to the PainterFactory Help forum since it's more appropriate here.

    I had a similar problem the other day, also using Firefox which had been working since I first joined back in July 2007. I could not log in and when I created a new account, my new password never arrived. 

    It turned out that all I needed to do was (in Firefox) go to Tools > Options > Privacy tab, click the Show Cookies button, scroll down and delete the painterfactory.com cookies. Next time I came to The PainterFactory, I was able to log in using my original user name and password, just like before. A new set of painterfactory.com cookies was automatically created.

    Another member had the same problem, applied the same solution, and it worked for him too.

    You might try that and see if it helps.

    It didn't work. Now I don't know what to do. I did send an email to Corel. Maybe the next upgrade to Firefox will fix it. When I looked at the error log, there was something about a parsing error and the request was dropped. sigh

    Are you using the latest version of Firefox?

    Except for that brief problem that got fixed by deleting painterfactory.com cookies, it's always worked for me even with earlier versions, but I'm using Firefox 3.0 now. If you're not, I wonder if installing it wour help?

    Hopefully you'll find a solution soon. We miss seeing you around these parts.

    Damn, I feel stupid.  I was signing in with my email address like most site you go to.  I decided to try it one more time and suddenly thought to sign in as Suchin Rai instead and I'm in.

    Hi,

    No need to feel stupid. It's way too easy to forget something what with so many forums and other sites we visit, sometimes with different methods, and often using different user names and passwords (or e-mail address) for each one.

    It's amazing we manage all this as well as we do!

    Don't feel alone in this suchin, it can be a real problem at times for me too. ... LOL
