Hi everyone :) I'm new to this site but have been using Painter for quite a few years now. Here's an example of something I created a while ago. I have quite a few more on my site at www.voiceout.com.au I would love to get your feedback on my paintings. Currently I'm working on a whole new series which have been a new challenge for me because they involve actual people.

Hi voice-out and welcome to the forum. I think your first post is absolutely lovely and I could imagine sitting on this beach with a sketchbook in hand.

Just one point if I may. Water will always find a level and it looks a little strange to see the ocean horizon running downhill. A little free rotation to level up that line would I think enhance this lovely picture.

I like  your painting very much, and though I didn't notice it at first glance, agree with squirrel about the slanted horizon. It should be very easy to fix that.

I'm trying to learn to paint backgrounds, and this is amazing! I love the scene you are depicting, and the way you painted it. I like the soft smoothness of it.

 

Do you have any tips or tutorials/walk-throughs you have done?
