Sure. I was having trouble figuring out cloning with standard brushes. I could only get the cloner and the smart stroke brushes to work. What I discovered is that you have to hit the clone stamp icon next to the foreground/background color swatches in order to clone with any other brush. It must be toggled for each brush individually. In the tutorial I was using, this wasn't indicated at all. Now I have an entire new cloning brush set to use that reacts better to the paper texture!
What I do is combine ZBrush sculpting with Photoshop compositing, editing, and painting. Then I bring the finished render into Painter X to further paint on it. Finally, I clone it several ways, pick the best or combine them, and call it a day (or a week, really!). I just stumbled upon this Painter community, so I'll be sure and post some work soon. In fact, I'll post one that I have on hand right now, and the rest later. Take care
