    Printing in Painter X

Hi everybody. I'm very new to painter X and I'm having problems printing. I have an iMac running Leopard 10.5.4. I simply want to print to A4! I have set up the page 10 x 7 inch as I am aware that borders need taking into account. When the page appears on the screen, it is much larger than 10 x 7 and shows 60% in the size bar. If I then try to print something, having asked Painter to fit to page, the print is much smaller than A4. And if I preview the painting, the PDF seems to flip the picture from landscape to portrait and then tell me it's too big for the paper! Help! Is it too much to ask that A4 (the most commonly used paper type) is easily printed on?

I'm answering my own question in case anybody else has the same problem. The error which I was making was to set the page size correctly but with too many pixels per inch. I reduced the pixel count to 100 per inch and, hey presto, the page size was suddenly A4 again. Still don't know why the preview function sends the image to a PDH and turns it through 90 degrees though. Hope that helps someone.
