Yes-sunny scenes with lots of contrasts between highlights and shadows make the best paintings, I find!

On the gallery page, this one and the one of Robert Blake stood out the most for me, and it probably is because of the contrast. Nice tonal values in this one. I like it very much. I think the Robert Blake one stands out better for me, though, but possibly because it is a person as the subject. Thanks for posting these here.
