  • Painter 12 workspace missing

Hey all! I'm new here. I have had Painter 12 for several years now and have been very happy with it for the most part. Last year, following the promo for the new edition pop up being added to the files, I lost my workspace when I opened up Painter and eventually had to have a tech takeover my pc...

Hi, I'm hoping somebody can help me. I'm having trouble with Corel Painter X3 (and Painter 2015) in regards to blending, and dark colours. It seems everytime I try to blend colours together, whether it's specifically with the blender brushes, or just the normal brushes, I get this strange...

  • Corel Painter 12 Layers HELP

Hi, In my infinite stupidity I started drawing before adding layers to my canvas. I was wondering if there is a way to make the canvas "layer one" and make a new layer into the canvas. So that I can color in my drawing and not have to worry about coloring over my line. Is this possible? I've...

  • Choppy Strokes

I'm having a problem in Painter X3 that doesn't happen every single attempt but still happens enough to be annoying. I'm using an Intuos 5 tablet on Windows 7. Sometimes when I make a stroke the stroke is choppy, as if the pen has been lifted from the tablet in an attempt to make a broken...

  • More and MORE questions!

I think I love X3. And I KNOW I love all the helpful work Skip has been doing. • Question regarding Templates

I am having trouble saving my template to the templates drop-down menu found in the Welcome window when you open up Painter. I have saved it as a .riff file, so I'm not sure why I get this "cannot create" message when I try to save it as instructed in the tutorial. I would appreciate any...
  • Re: Help file- Painter X3 student edition

I read through your posts and it sounds like the Apple Viewer is there. The Apple Viewer, to my knowledge, is part of the OS and it allows you to display all Apple Help files. Many apps display their help using this viewer. Painter only includes the Help files to be viewed in the Apple Viewer, but we...
