  • Strange yellow lined box

I just started using Painter12 and I am having problems with brushes. When I use my Wacom intuos4 pen I get a lined yellow box with a thin stroke (no mater what brush I am using). The box looks like legal paper. I can use the mouse to draw normally, but not the tablet without this box showing up under...

  • Re: painter12 Will not work " not responding"

In the end, the nice people i bought it from asked for another copy from Corel ( i'd tried to run the cd on several machines without any luck) .. and guess what , the new one worked fine.. still crashes all the time though, but that's painter. I found that its very susceptible to screen resolution...

  • Painter 12, Wacom Intuos 4, imac Lion freeze

This is not a big deal, no work is lost and a reboot of the mac solves the problem. But it is weird. Every so often in Painter 12, the Wacom cursor dies. The Mac cursors work and P-12 works (with a mouse) so I can save and close P-12 and reboot the Mac. Just closing and opening P-12 is not enough, the...

  • Wacom, Pens, Erasers and Damping

Hi, Been using Painter 12 now just about since it was released. I have updated the program to the 12.1 update and absolutely love the software... However, one minor issue i find is that when using some brushes, if I flip my Intuos pen upside down to use the eraser, the pen Damping always reverts to 50...

Hello, I am new to Painter, till now I worked with Photoshop CS4. • How to enlarge and keep clarity

When my painting is finished how should I save it, so it still looks just as clean and sharp on the computer and still be able to enlarge the painting (example 24 x 36 ) with the same clarity as I see on the screen? I really am having problems with this and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...

  • Painter 12 does not launch

Hi, I'm running Windows 7. I use a Wacom tablet Intuos4, and I purchased an upgrade to go from Painter 11 to Painter 12. After installation, I tried to launch the program, and it hangs. Doesn't launch! Any idea of what could be the cause of this? I noticed that after I installed the Painter 12...
  • Lasso Selection problem

Im having problems with the Lassoo selection tool on P12. When selecting an area with this tool, it appears to close the selection area as it normally would when the pen is lifted from the tablet. I dont have this problem in any other paint/art package that I use (Corel GS X5, Artrage Studio Pro etc...
