I used six reference photos. One for the facial structure, one for the eyes, one for the nose, another for the lips, one for the neck, and one for the body and dress. And at the end, a whole new person appears. The expressive strokes are just finishing touches for a bit of pizzazz and the bamboo spray was just a touch of whimsy. I don't clone and try to only paint on one layer, but sometimes I get way up there depending on what I'm trying out. If I like what I have done on a "trial layer" I'll drop it. If not, I'll leave it closed in case I change my mind later. Pastels, oil, canvas texture.
Interesting work and textures. I always work on layers either to combine or overlap image or color.
Very clever; an artistic mind is an inventive mind. You definitely have an eye for composition and form.
