So this is a problem I've been running into with no idea how to fix. When I draw, I frequently use the lasso tool to select an area for editing, mainly scaling and moving these selections to fit the undersketch better. However, I've been running into this problem where, whenever I do this, it creates a new layer for some bogus reason.
Is there any way to shut this off so it won't do that? Because I really don't want to have to merge layers every time I do this and it's only a problem in Corel.
I have Corel Painter 2017 if that helps.
Thank you! :)
hi Gisette, if you are referring to the 'floating layers' that painter makes, just click on the original layer (in the Layers pane/palette) and that will merge them back together. (usually!)
