I am doing a complete introduction to Painter 2015 tutorial series on YouTube -- each week will have a new chapter posted, I am celebrating the launch today by starting with 3 chapters.
Corel Painter 2015 Video Manual
Best,Jason.
Yes, I second Elaina's comments and in recognition of your efforts Jason I've given this thread the special honour of stickiness. :-)
Thank-you both :)
I wasn't paying much attention while I was working on it, but I just looked and it ran over 11 hours total... I think that is a new record for me in terms of project length. The really crazy thing is I didn't cover the effects menu items or scripting at all... and the brush engine is also in a separate series. So I guess this is proof of how big Painter really is in terms of base functionality.
Nice job Jason - I watched several videos when I could find the time and learned a lot of new little things about the software. Thanks for being generous with your knowledge.

I don't find this to be crazy at all. It was something I got in touch with when I first began writing beginner lessons for Painter. I had to stick with the basics so that I wouldn't overwhelm the newbie users. Painter, and all it's features combine into one humongous program. I think if you decide to do another series covering the Effects, it may end up being just as long as this one. Each one of those Effects has it's own sub-menu...unbelievable...
I posted a simple descriptive outline of the CP21015VM series (with links to each video) here:

This was requested a few times by users so they could easily find a particular video they wanted to go back to review.
