Greetings, I was fortunate to get in on the awesome Humble Bundle deal for Corel Painter 2020 and for my birthday I got an XP-Pen Artist 12.
I've been playing around with it for a few days and have good results (for me).
I am fairly new to digital art and totally new to drawing tablets. I've used Photoshop for years but mostly for post-processing astrophotography images, not actual drawing.
So far I love what I've seen from Corel Painter but I'd like to hear from others who use the XP-Pen tablets with it and what express key settings they use and any general tips/advice they have to offer?
Thanks,
Greg.
I have to ask, have you tried using the 2B real pencil with a simple horizontal and vertical line, how do they appear on screen.
I have the XP-Pen 22E pro but I've only had Painter a couple of days and even though have encountered problems which require a newer display to resolve or masses of time to change the angle setting on each brush that has setting >0
R.
Ah, yeah, I've heard that some non-Wacom tablets so some weird things with settings they don't directly support like Rotation, Tilt, and Bearing. I don't have a brilliant solution, but the brush files are XML files, so you could probably make that change with a search and replace with something like Notepad++.
