Particle Shop 1.1.549 fails to open in Photoshop CC through Filters > Painter, nothing happens. I am on a Macbook Air running Mac OS X El Capitan. Standalone Particle shop opens but I have not had the software long enough to understand how this works..
Same for me - and it's 2019
Have the right somputer specs and the right host software
Why does Corel sell something that does not work ?
Corel programming for Mac has been riddled with problems for years, even up to the newest Painter 2020. Less problems with Windows versions.
Wondering why they would sell a product for a mac that doesn't really work on a mac
Doesn't say much for Corel as a company
Guess I won't be buying any more from Corel
I'm not familiar with the stand-alone photoshop plug-in (corel's painting software code is degenerate enough to avoid anything else by this company), but a lot of corel painter particle features were duplicated from another application, it's called flame painter by escape motions. it's a stand-alone application, but a photoshop plug-in is also available.
maybe you can get a refund on your corel purchase and give flame painter demo a try. it's on sale at the moment as well.
Hi Canon Minolta, have you tried holding shift while launching ParticleShop? This will reset everything to factory defaults, and should solve most launch issues. Let us know if it helps.
