I'm a bit rusty, so I am wondering if anyone has a few links that cover the modification of Painter brushes. A video/PDF explaining the basic settings would be great.
Hi Phillip, have you tried Painter Tutorials on Youtube? A quick search over there should help. In addition, I can say there are several artists with great content about tweaking brushes such as:
-Jason Maranto (i.e. this video about glazing brushes is great: https://youtu.be/dOscpVdw1I0)
-Skip Allen Paints
Thanks for getting back to me.
As you may recall me saying from a previous thread, I am pretty rusty in the use of Painter. That said, I just want to relearn the basics of brush creation. Years back - Painter X, perhaps?, you used to be able to find the Brush Creator under the Windows menu item, but alas, it no longer exists. IMHO, the brush selection in Painter is overwhelming. I would just like to have and master a single brush that I could use for all of my painting. Wishful thinking? Perhaps.
At any rate, thanks for the link and artist suggestions. I am familiar with each of them, but will revisit each once again.
Wow! Thanks again for the Jason Maranto link. There are many very interesting Painter brush links associated with that link. These will be a big help to me.
Thanks again for your help.
