When my Painter 20/20 starts up the Splash Screen is now set to the UPDATE tab instead of the Get Started tab. How do I change it so that it defaults to Get Started? I don't like having to do the extra click every time I want to open a document. I never use to have to do this. Thank you.

Ummm this is weird, had you tried resetting the workspace? By pressing the shift key while starting the exe file of painter? A couple of options will appear to reset it.
Also you canj open it once more by doing once more a performance check and then you can click the option on top if you want it to stay there or remove it.
Well, I tried holding down the shift key while starting the program and I did get the options screen and I set everything back to factory defaults but the splash screen still defaults to the Upgrade tab.I am not at all sure what you mean by doing a "performance check". Where is that?
This is another one of Corel's undocumented features, like the intrusive ad's they display in the notification area of your computer. It is designed to either have you remove the software and move on, or upgrade.
