I am having a miserable experience that reminds me of how horrid Painter 12 was!
After successful installation, I cannot get past the "Let us get to know you" window. As soon as I enter info and press "continue" Painter 2021 quits.
A full wasted day with tech support, and no resolve. Just miserable!!!
Hey Tom, similar problem, posted it 5hrs ago - I get the opening logo on transparant, then grey, then black background and when the interface (brushes, canvas etc. ) is about to show it disappears. Have been able to use it a few times though, and then it's really good.
Hi Walter, thanks for your response. Tech support eventually were able to help me out with this particular issue - which sounds a bit different from yours. My issue stemmed from migration from one iMac to another, and having a naming conflict. I believe Level 2 support spread the word to Level 1 support, in regards to a known solution that could be communicated to Mac users much sooner on. As I mentioned, I was on the phone, and on online chats for a good 1.5 days, before I could reach somebody who knew what the solution was.
And now, I anxiously await a solution that will allow me to run Painter on my new 2020 iMac. That’s another post I have here on Painter Factory. C’mon Corel - give us Mac users some love!
well, I'm on Windows 10 - and tech support chat 'll be tomorrow - so I'll hold on to my proverbial pixel hat and see what turns up then; hope you get your Mac version (Big Mac?) and you can get going with the A.I !
