I had high hopes for painter 2021 but I'm getting frustrated after just a couple of days, spending more time researching issues than painting so far.
My issue is the document windows keep on getting stacked and stuck at the top left of the interface, so I cannot move them minimise them or do anything other than drag them from the bottom left towards the top right it does not matter what I try, multi view mode, single view mode presentation mode or switching between these and restarting. Sometimes it actually loads with a floating document but the next time I open a file it reverts to this behaviour. Any help would be most appreciated.
Ok I think I've found the problem, I had my second monitor (4k) set at 150% scaling and this was obscuring the document controls by extending the top property bar over the top of the document, so now I've set the scaling to 125% and this just exposes the top of the document window enough to be able to move it around and leave the interface just about readable Seems like painter does not play to well with a second monitor.
I wish I could drag documents to either monitor, especially a clone window, this would make tracking of the clone point easier.
No I thought that solved it but it still happens, the only way I can find so far is to open a file on my first monitor and drag the whole program over to the second monitor. I can see that I will be spending a lot of time here
