If you recall those little symbols which show the four corners of your layer content... I know there's a "show/hide layer indicator" command in the layers dialogue- but they keep switching back on when I least expect. Is there perhaps a keyboard shortcut I keep fumbling by accident?
I think you can customize this command to have a shortcut, but by default it doesn't have one. That's really strange they are switching on...when is this happeneding? Oh and which version? I can see if I can get the same issue on my setup.
G'day Stephen'tis Painter 2021. Whatever I was doing that made it keep coming back, it *ahem* appeared to settle down after I posted! I've been waiting for a reocurrence and it hasn't so far. Thanks for responding, hopefully that's a wrap on that one!
These pesky things came back again a week or two back. For a few weeks I thought I'd managed to excise 'em!Every time a layer indicator appears (usually after a cut n paste, they obscure the four corners of the pasted portion of drawing) I click on the "hide layer indicators" (plural, I note, so it's not just referring to the new layer) they come back though.Any clues what I'm doing wrong? They get in the way!
So far I've never encountered this...it's unlikely you are doing something wrong, sounds like there are some specific steps that cause it. I tried some cut and paste myself and it didn't show up, so if you can provide any extra info on the steps that cause it, I can join you in the bug hunt!
Thanks Stephen. I'll keep my eyes peeled!
