Hi! Did Corel Painter 2019 lost the support? Bc it felt like it did. Yestreday everyhing was fine and then boom, Dec 1st, programm does not want to start (its shutting down after the "title picture" and tab bar shows up) and neither want to reinstall
Everything works fine on my device, beside that Corel Painter.
Hmm, 2019 just launched on my Win 10 system so it might something else preventing the launch. I would try the following:
1. Reboot your system and try launching again. (this sometimes fixes the issue of not launching)
2.Do you have customizations that you need to keep? (i.e. custom brushes, papers, ui layout changes, etc.)
a) If the answer is no, then I'd simply hold shift at launch and reset the current workspace to factory defaults.
a) If the answer is yes, and you recently backed up your workspace, (Via Window Workspace>Export Workspace) then I'd simply hold shift at launch and reset the current workspace to factory defaults. Once Painter is up and running again you can import your backed up workspace.
c) If the answer is yes, but you didn't backup the workspace....then you'll need to determine how many of those customizations you can keep. You can try holding shift at lunch and some options are presented...you will loose some customizations but in most cases this fixes the issue of not launching.
d) If you're not sure....the other option is to try technical support, they may be able to dig a little deeper...just make sure you tell them what customizations you want to keep (if any).
