1) Brush calibration works intermittently. - what happens - open the calibraion window and run your pen around in it as per usual and nothing happens. THe graph doesnt change and no dotted line appears in the window.
2) Pinch to Zoom and Touch Rotate seldom works. (Edit: holding down one finger then waiting, then adding the second finger alleviates the problem)
In programs like Artrage it works perfectly.
if you could fix these things up that would be very kind of you
Painter seems customized for Wacom pen and drivers- Surface 4 Pro is no longer using Wacom, so that may be causing the pen calibration problem and the Surface Pro 4 doesn't support tilt and rotate either. However, this article may give you some tips on attempting to get some features to work- http://www.elegantsimplelife.com/2015/11/a-few-helpful-tips-on-setting-up-surface-pro-4-and-corel-painter-2016/
thanks Ron. I used those settings initially when I got the surface but no joy. this morning I sat down and went through them methodically one by one . The best results as far as usability seem to be :RTS compatible device ticked and Enable multi touch ticked and windows multi touch ticked . (also the delay set to none) I did have some luck today as far as zooming and rotating on the touch screen . The trick is to hold one finger down on the screen then wait half a second then add the other finger. That makes zooming and rotating work the 'majority ' of the time
