I received the Intuos Art Wacom Tablet with the free art pack.
I installed all the necessary for the tablet and have seen that the tablet works fine.
My problem is that when I install Painter Essentials 5 it asks me for a serial number. At first i entered the tablet one but it told me that it was wrong so i proceeded to open it without it. Unfortunately, when I opened it it would freeze with the logo of the app in the center. i had to Force Quit otherwise the logo would remain in the center of the screen even if I wanted to use other applications.
I was wondering where I can find the serial number.
Don't know if it makes any difference but i live in Italy, but the tablet, i believe, was also bought in Italy so i don't think that should create a problem.
Thank you in advance.
Okay, I had the same issue just a few minutes ago, but found an answer so I'll just type it up here for future reference:
No, the serial license isn't found on the box.
If you registered your tablet on the Wacom website and registered yoursoftware bundle code (if you haven't, get on it. The bundle code is on the opening lid of the box, not the sleeve with the fancy box art on it), your Account page should have a Software Library link on its menu. click that and proceed to do the 1-2-3 instructions indicated. There, Painter Essentials is found and the serial license as well. Copy and paste that into your installer and and it'll run the installation. Might want to go grab a snack or something to preoccupy yourself while the installment happens.
I'm in the Philippines, in Asia, have bought the tablet from here, but it seems to work regardless of where you are.
