So at first, I got through most of my image with no issue. Then for some reason it started to show these weird brush strokes and would. Almost like all of my strokes are outlined. I tried restarting the program, restarting my computer, un-installing and re-installing, and it'd look normal for a bit then go back to looking wonky like this. The same thing happened in Painter Essentials 6 and I can't figure out what could be causing this.
Hmm, does it happen with all brushes or just a specific brush? Have you recently changed your Wacom driver?
Wacom drivers? Trouble reported here with newest ones- try rolling back to some older ones.
I don't have a Wacom pen tablet. The issue seems to be Painter related: the issue fixed itself again after I left the program open for a while and went back to looking normal without those weird brush strokes. I didn't test with any other brushes besides the digital watercolor, when it happens again I'll try it out.
No Wacom pen tablet here unfortunately.
Thanks for the info, Cyanste. If/when this happens again, can you check the "Dab Profile"? I'm curious if this is what is changing. This can be found under Window>Brush Control Panels> Dab Profile. You will see there are different shapes...what shape is showing when get the weird brush strokes? If you reset the brush, does the brush behave as expected?
