Painter crashes rather consistently when using a thick paint layer and the filbert brush (maybe others, but I haven't tried them all. It seems to happen more often when selecting a color before the stroke has finished painting.
Steps to reproduce:Create a document, select Natural Paint Media --> PAINT - Oils --> Filbert brush, increase brush size to maybe 100,paint rapidly with a large brush size, while changing paint color frequently using the color wheel.

Which Wacom driver version number are you using, herrkjeldsen?
Hi Stephen. Thank you for your reply.
I'm using Wintab_x64_126.96.36.199.zip from www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx
When testing on a Dell Windows 10 Workstation with a Wacom Cintiq 22hd I'm unable to trigger the same crash though.
I believe the Surface Pro driver is the problem. Many posts here throughout forum about similar issues. While Surface Pro pen driver seems to work fine in other programs, Corel is so ingrained with Wacom that other tablets/pens/drivers don't always work right.
In Painter on Surface Pro make sure under Edit-Preferences-Tablet that you have selected RTS & not Wacom.
Thanks for your Reply Ron. I have had it set to RTS. But you may be right about the driver and Corel being ingrained with Wacom, though. When I set the tablet to Wintab I can't reproduce the crashes. Actually it almost seems like I'm unable to select a color until the stroke has finished drawing.
However, when using the wacom/wintab driver the eraser button on a surface pro pen doesn't work :D (Is that a known bug btw, or should that be reported separately?)
Besides contacting Corel directly, this forum link might help looking through- join forum and you can post a question-
Thanks for the link Ron! I'll have a look :)
