Just formatted my computer, downloaded Painter Essential 6, ran the installer, after the instalation was complete, i couldn't find the .exe. Tried lookin on Program Files folder and AppData/Local, yet, found nothin. Figured somethin was wrong, tried to install again and nothin' changed. Still no .exe was found. Ran it again and uninstalled it. Reboot my computer, ran it again and choose to install it. BAM, it says it can't find the 'setup.msi', and that I should choose an alternative path that cotains said 'setup.msi' package. Thing is, I can't find it.
Windows 10, 64 bits, I5-7200U, 8GB, 1 TB.
And sorry, english ain't my first language.
Hmm...really hard to tell exactly what's going on but here are a couple of ideas.
1. Reboot your system. (again)
2. Check in "Add/Remove Programs" to see if you can find Painter Essentials 6 in the list. If it's there, uninistall it.
3. Download the program again. This part is important, as it appears your first download was corrupt/not working as expected. I would download from here: https://www.painterartist.com/en/product/painter-essentials/
4. The default path to the EXE is C:\Program Files\Corel\Painter Essentials 6; however you may want to use Windows 10 "Search" feature in the taskbar to find the program and add it to your program menu.
Hope this helps in some way...
