I'm hoping someone here has some insight on an especially frustrating bug Ive been experiencing with Painter 2019. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Essentially the issue is that any and all of my brushes seem to lock up at random and resort to only placing a single stamp dab down of the brush without continuing the whole stroke.
In addition, once the brush locks up this way I can only change its size through the bracket keys and not the CTRL + OPTION modifiers I normally use. It seems to happen at random and with much frequency of late (Maybe 5-10 times per hour). It also seems to "correct" itself at random too. Only after trying to click other interface elements, switching tools, or switching apps it will finally go back to the normal behavior. None of which are consistent though. Often times the brush will stay this way anywhere from a few seconds to 20 seconds or more even.
I've attempted to completely delete/reinstall my Wacom driver and still no luck. This issue only seems too be with Painter as I don't experience the issue with PS. In addition to the screen grab below you can check out a video of the issue here.
Anyone with insight or experience issues such as this before? Thoughts? Much thanks in advance.

I had it during painter 2019 trial period.
it feels like it's rooted in the broken way wacom driver and painter correspond together in this version.
I'm surprised painter service pack did nothing to help this - the only way to get rid of stray strokes for me was by alt-tabbing into any other app for a moment, and switching back to painter. than it would come back again and again.
by the way wacom released a new mac driver build this week, there's a tiny chance it works better with painter now (there're no mentions of painter 2019 bugfixes on wacom's side though.)
Thanks for the reply. Yeah tabbing to another app and back "fixes" it sometimes. Not enough to be reliable for me anyway. Besides even if it did consistently "fix" the issue it still happens so much that it's really making it hard to be productive with the app.
It also seems to cause the problem sometimes as well. Sigh...
I did see the new driver posted this week as well. Completely deleted the older one (Using Wacoms Uninstaller AND manually removing leftover files.) and reinstalled the newest one but still no luck.
