Now if it would get bigger as the color triangle is enlarge that would help, but straight of the bat: it is to small. Why is it so small, when color is so essential; I'm thinking that it would be a good thing if it was three times as big or at least twice as big.... Again, why is it so small....
it's resizable dove x
Color triangle is resizable, but the main color circle does not get bigger, as the triangle resizes....
Maybe you have found some kind of bug? Can you share a screenshot so we can see what it looks like?
Here is a hyperlink to the help: http://product.corel.com/help/Painter/540219480/Main/EN/Win-Documentation/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=Corel-Painter-Displaying-the-Color-panel.htmlNow I know that the triangle gets bigger, but the main color window and termed, by this help window is what I am saying cannot get any larger: no matter how big the triangle is dragged, the main color circle remains that nickel sized main color ring.... I am saying that it would help me a lot if that window was three time the size it is....
You can see that the triangle is larger, but that the main color window is still that small nickel sized ring....
I actually agree, the color sample could at least have gotten a few extra fixed size options (like a medium and a large size, provided current one is called small)
there's no reason it is set to one defined size from 2011 while everything else in painter UI is going through a gigantomania wave of some sorts.
my only suggestion is to make a test stroke every time you're about to make a crucial color choice, and quickly undo/overpaint it later. that way your canvas also reflects the color you will get based on brush blending/saturation variables.
