So when I launch Coral Painter, if I try to hover my mouse over any tool whether it be brush, crop, changing brush size, etc, anything like that, the program will just close.
No window saying it crashes, it just closes as if I closed it myself.
I've tried reinstalling it and that didn't work and I'm not sure of any other methods.
I'm on Windows 10.
What Painter version? If using a tablet/pen, update or roll back the drivers. I'm sure you tried to reset the program by holding down the Shift key while starting.
That's a good suggestion Ron...IIRC, several months ago there were definitely Wacom drivers that caused this kind of random crashes so I would start there first. Be sure to reboot after updating!
I'm not sure where to check for the exact version but i'm on the latest version of Coral Painter 2019.
I have a Huion drawing tablet, and I've uninstalled the Huion drivers and app from my pc, to see if that was the problem but that doesn't seem to fix the issue. It still closes when I hover over things even without the drivers.
Sure you have the latest Huion drivers and proper setting in Painter Preferences, Tablet- Wacom or RTS.
Try hovering over Tools with your pen and not the mouse. If ok, check your mouse settings in Windows- one setting opens a progam with hover instead of click and this may cause a conflict with Painter.
Since I never heard of your kind of problem before, I strongly believe it is hardware related- tablet or mouse.
