Hi.Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between Dab stencils and Paper?I don't mean the panels and settings, but the actual effect.
Especially this: what is the difference between:
a] Using a brush with a Grainy subcategory in combination with a certain paper.
b] Using a brush with the dab stencil option in comination with that same paper?
I looks to me that there is no difference.
Okay. Looks like you're a fan of this feature. I'll check it out.But what I regret very much is that there doesn't seem to be an option 'Random Grain Position', like with papers. This means that the 'mall holes or alphabet letters' or whatever will always appear on the same place, right? If so, that is very bad, I think. I prefer more randomness.
Correction: IF set in the paper panel, Dan stencil will also use the 'Random Grain Position'.
But...You wrote: "or you can use 2 different papers".But I can't. When I choose a paper in the paper panel, the paper in the dab stencil panel changes accordingly! So I always end up having the same paper as 'paper' and as dab stencil. That is pretty lame.(Btw, sorry for the confusion)
you can add jitter to the brush and add pressure expression to get some variability
