Hi,
If I draw a circle I can fill it with the paint bucket tool. But if I choose a semi circle on the corner of canvas I cannot fill it with the paint bucket tool (see the attached image). In fact for the first time the paint bucket tool works, but if I undo the brush stroke and draw again, this time the paint bucket tool does not work. What is wrong here?
If I close the semi-circle by moving the pen out of the canvas area the paint bucket tool always works and when I add to the canvas size, the remaining of the semi-circle which was out of the canvas appears on canvas. Is there a way to limit the brush stroke strictly to the visible part of canvas? It seems corel painter sees the area outside of the white visible canvas as part of a bigger canvas and that is why if the semi-circle is bounded by the boundary of the canvas it actually sees it as a line.
I don't know if it will be useful for you, but initially it didn't work for me, so I checked out the section of Fill in the Painter 2020 documentation and it had me do a step with creating a color set and then everything worked, even after I deleted that color set.
Could you please explain more or tell me which page in the documentation you read that? I do not know about creating a color set. Thanks!
Here you go. FWIW, I did a search in the PDF documentation for the fill section, and then looked it up in the online documentation to get a link.
