Sorry, I made a mistake with my previous enquiry. I have brushes which I use in my Painter 2018 on my old laptop which has OS Yosemite and I want to transfer them to Painter2021 which I have on my new laptop which runs OS BigSur. How do I transfer the brushes?
Sheila
Easiest way is to export the brushes on one computer either using the Brushes menu or via right-clicking, and then to import them in the new install on the other computer.

Many thanks for this.
No worries. I had to do it recently myself, switching from Painter 2019 to 2020 and between Desktop computers. The brush libraries tend to not take up much space, so I recommend backing them up, particularly if not bought through Painter itself.
The curious thing is I tried phoning Corel on this and other issues and got though to some folks in India who were absolutely useless and kept saying tech. support would phone me back and they never did. I eventually wrote to Corel and some guy called Merlin said he would try to find out the answer and after weeks said he was still trying to find out the answer, then he wrote and said it couldn't be done. Absolute nonsense because with your help I have just done it and it couldn't be easier. What is wrong with Corel tech. support these days? It is a joke!
That is regrettable, and yours is not the first tale I've heard of support being less than useful (as well as, as you can see here, people complaining about a lack of real new features and/or support for current OSes). I've had pretty decent luck with Support, myself, but it still took too long for the questions I had. Fortunately, we still have these forums, and https://www.reddit.com/r/CorelPainter/ to ask questions in.
