I just upgraded to Painter 2021 and while otherwise working fine, I cannot apply any keyboard shortcuts. When accessing the menu under preferences, I should be able to type in the changes I want to make, but for some reason the default settings cannot be changed.
iMac OS 11.2.1
Did you click the "Accept" button before you hit "OK"? Sometimes when you are trying to add a new shortcut to a tool that has an existing shortcut, you must first click "Accept" (at the bottom of the panel) before it will plug in the new shortcut.
I'm not even able to enter any change the key inputs. I'm not sure if I'm describing it correctly but I literally can not interface with the preferences panel
Wow that sounds like a problem. I'm not sure what it could be. Hopefully someone else will chime in with an idea. I've never had this problem. Hope you figure this out.
Having the same issue, though I noticed it only seems to be happening in the Application Menus section. I can change the shortcuts for the tools. Anyone have a fix for this?
Yes, I noticed that too. I'm sure there's a fix in Painter 2022....for a price. I left this issue with Corel tech support 3 or 4 months ago and no solution or response, beyond acknowledgment of the problem, of any kind.
