Do Corel support normally ask to do a remote session to your computer?
Just wanted to check as I am usually suspicious of that especially when I said three times I can follow directions without the need for them to connect to my pc. The only reply I got was again asking to do a remote session.
Cheers for any replies.
They keep repeating the same message now. Irritating. Nobody know anything here????
No company of any good repute would nag you to take control of one of your devices. Assuming its a popup, run an antivirus. If its an email, report as spam. That is standard scam practice.
It’s from Corel support.
It says the following with slight variations. They ignore the fact I have done support myself for many years and am capable to follow direction.

I meant to add that the lack of understanding and completely ignoring my messages questioning the wanting to connect to my pc doesn’t add any confidence that some scam is being attempted.
Also if I do not reply for a couple of days I get an email from parallels support about it. Terrible name. I thought of parallels the company.
So now it really feels like some scam.
I think my next step is to bypass any support and target the directors for answers.
