I have been using the cover pencil for the last 3 months, working on a children's book that my publisher is waiting on. It stopped working while I was using after I used the acrylic brush, and has never come back. What can I do to correct this?

Do other brushes in the Pens and Pencils category work?
What type of layer were you using? Default or special?
Are there any selections on the layer? Are there any merge modes on the layer?
