I definitely think Painter should come with line stabilization, like the kind you can see in Clip Studio Paint.
At its max, this feature really smooths out the little wobblies that are a natural characteristic of hand-drawn lines.
it's called "brush damping" in painter, and it's very different from CPS approach to stabilizing line-art, but it works. it's not available for some brushes though.
that being said, some things are better handled in CPS and transferred to painter later.

I agree: It's not quite the same as CPS stabilization, but this damping feature is still nice to know about.
