Questions about new forum

1. Is there a way to send a PM to a member?

2. Is there a way to prevent the sidebar "popups" from appearing? Not only are they annoying, but whenever I click on a message listed in the popup, I'm taken to a page which informs me that the discussion no longer exists.

I can at least answer # 1 ;-)

Click the person's avatar or user name at the right of the message, that will go to their profile page. At the top left there is a button called "Connect", under there you can send a private message!

LOL...they already changed it Steve. Now if you hover over a profile picture there is a drop-down menu which contains the option to send a PM. Well, that part is easier anyway. :)

In order to find this thread I had to hover over JoeC's profile pic and choose "Recent Activity".

Sigh....

I don't see an option to send a PM on Nightshadows example above, nor do I see that option when I go out of this page and click on his profile elsewhere.

It's gone...it was there. I sent Joe a screenshot. I think we can expect to see daily changes here until it all gets sorted out.
