1. Is there a way to send a PM to a member?
2. Is there a way to prevent the sidebar "popups" from appearing? Not only are they annoying, but whenever I click on a message listed in the popup, I'm taken to a page which informs me that the discussion no longer exists.

Yes, I think there may be some small issues at the moment while the new forum settles in.
I tried clicking on a whole bunch of profiles earlier. All, apart from one, do not show "Send a PM". I've no idea why that one had the option. There may be a simple reason - some checkbox I've either checked or unchecked - or perhaps there's something that someone else has to do!
Anyway, I'll keep looking. I guess we have to be patient. There are always teething troubles with major changes like this. Complicated though. :-)
