Exporting/saving all work as high res other than riff file

Hi

New to essentials ..bought essentials 8 

Did some work on a piece (imported a pic as the canvass, added layers) went to save the finished work as a jpeg  for printing ......and it only saved the 'core' not the rest

And the 'clone' jpg is too low res.

Any help appreciated
