If you are using a Surface Pro, we would love to know about your experience with Painter?
All feedback received is much appreciated !
Have a great day,
Hello. I've just picked up a Surface Pro 7 (i5, 8 GB Ram) with the Microsoft Pen and I'm having issues with Pressure sensitivity. I've gone into Preferences > Tablet and tried both the Wacom and RTS settings. With the Wacom setting, I always seem to get 100% pressure and with RTS, I barely get any mark on the canvas when applying lots of pressure. I've tried using the Brush Calibration but that didn't seem to make any difference.
I've verified that the pen is working properly in the MS Surface Pen calibration software and the variance in pressure is registering properly there. Any help you may be able to provide would be most appreciated.
Hey joelmcq, have you had any luck yet? I have the exact same problem with Painter Essentials 7 running on my Surface Pro7. The pen works fine on Adobe Fresco and Autodesk Sketchbook. I recently upgraded from a Surface Pro4, on which Essentials 5 & 7 worked without issues.
I should add that I was able to get only the usual solutions from Corel. In fact, I ended up on this thread after digging around on the internet. Any help will indeed be appreciated.
Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat. Scouring the internet for possible solutions and so far nothing and no word from Corel. Rather disappointed
