I just go painter 2021 and when I try and load it up the splash screen shows up then the interface shows up then it all closes down. I have reinstalled it. Same issue. I have held shift down while loading up and reset everything. Same issue.
Particle shop also does not open.
I have an rtx 2060 gfx card with an i5 9400f cpu and 16 gb ram
I do not have a wacom tablet installed.
I'm at a loss. Any ideas on how I can get it to run.
Do Corel customer support normally ask to connect to your computer remotely to fix a problem? Hmmm
I was wondering, have you tried:
-going to add/remove programs
-run the uninstaller
-after it runs, it gives you an option to repair...
-run the repair

Yes I had tried that unfortunately.
Forgive the simplicity of these suggesitons, but it helps to ask 'just in case'...has the system been rebooted? Sometimes Windows has device drivers/updates/etc. that can get in the way, and reboot can fix them..
I would also try uninstalling Particleshop, then doing a repair on Painter, and then seeing if it launches...again random ideas but figured I'd throw them out there in case it helps.

I have even gone so far as changing drivers for my gfx card to non game drivers. I have deleted other apps. I have trawled the events around what is happening. All they keep repeating is give us access to your pc and refuse to tell me what they want to do while connected. I tend to think either they are fully aware of the issue but cannot say as it allows piracy or something as there is no reasonable reason they wont just tell me what to do.
In this day and age of scammers its ridiculous to be so adamant? Hmmm.
